Camera Troubleshooting

Q1 What should I do if the indicator light flashes blue?

A flashing blue light indicates one of the following:

  • No microSD card
  • The microSD card is not recognized by the camera
  • The micro SD card is full or has an error

Back up the files on the microSD card to another device, then format the card in exFAT format on a computer.

Q2 What should I do if Insta360 Sphere shows low SD card speed?

Sphere is compatible with exFAT formatted microSD cards with the UHS-I bus interface and Video Speed Class V30 rating. If the microSD card’s writing speed doesn’t meet the requirements or there is too much file fragmentation, it may show low SD card speed.

Please check whether the microSD card you’re using meets the basic requirements: UHS-I, V30 and exFAT format.

If your card does meet these requirements, please backup the files to the card and format it in exFAT format.

Q7 What should I do if Sphere won’t turn on?

If Sphere won’t turn on, please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Does the battery have enough power?——Connect the camera to a 5V 2A adapter with the charge cable and charge for 15 minutes. Then, try to turn on the camera again.
Step 2: Is the charging adapter/cable working normally?——Check if they are functioning correctly by testing with other devices.
