I. Product introduction

1. What are Insta360 Care and Insta360 FlexiCare?
  • Insta360 Care is Insta360's first-generation value-added service for accidental damage protection, offering one year of coverage for accidental damage to your device. If your device suffers non-intentional damage (e.g., lens breakage) during normal use or due to accidental incidents, you are entitled to one free repair during the coverage period.
  • Insta360 FlexiCare is an upgraded version of Insta360 Care. It provides up to 4 accidental damage replacement claims over two years, covering a wide range of scenarios such as unexpected collisions, drops, and water damage. Additionally, your device remains eligible for standard warranty coverage throughout the service period. The service term is either 1 year (for the 1-Year Plan) or 2 years (for the 2-Year Plan), starting automatically upon successful activation of the service.

*If your device experiences a malfunction within the standard warranty period or the FlexiCare term, such incidents will not count against your available Care service claims.

Please visit Insta360 Store, switch to the corresponding region at the top of the page, and select a specific product to check whether Insta360 Care or Insta360 FlexiCare is available for purchase in your area. Currently, Insta360 FlexiCare and Insta360 Care offer global coverage; however, countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Israel, India, Brazil, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, and Russia are not yet included.

*Please note: The service fulfillment location for Insta360 Care and Insta360 FlexiCare must match the region selected at the time of purchase on Insta360 Store. If your actual shipping address differs from the region selected during purchase, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs resulting from this discrepancy.

3. Invoice information
  • After purchasing any Insta360 Care or Insta360 FlexiCare, you may request an invoice.
  • The invoice issued will be an electronic ordinary invoice, categorized under service fees or a similar category.

4. Service transfer and refund policy
  • Service transfer: Insta360 Care is permanently linked to the original device's serial number at the time of activation and cannot be transferred to another device.
  • Service refund: Available only under specific conditions.
    • If your Insta360 Care or Insta360 FlexiCare is purchased together with your device, and you initiate a return or exchange of the device within 15 days of purchase, the associated Care service may be refunded along with the device.
    • Once this period has expired or the service has already been used, no refunds will be permitted. For full details, please refer to the Insta360 Care Customer Service Agreement and Insta360 FlexiCare Service Terms.

III. Usage guide

1. How to bind your Insta360 Care or FlexiCare after purchase?
  • Purchased via Insta360 Store:
    • Purchased with a new device: After purchase, your service will be automatically activated and linked to your device—no manual action required.
    • Purchased separately: Enter the device serial number during the purchase process. Upon successful order placement, the service will be automatically activated and bound to the device.
  • Purchased via other platforms: After purchase, you can complete the binding by entering the product serial number and activation code on the Insta360 Website.

Please note:

Timeframe Requirements for Service Activation and Binding

  • Insta360 FlexiCare: The device must be brand new and unactivated, or activated within 30 days.
  • Insta360 Care: The device must be brand new and unactivated, or activated within 15 days.

2. When does Insta360 Care / Insta360 FlexiCare take effect?

The effective date of Insta360 Care / Insta360 FlexiCare shall be the date on which the service is successfully bound.

3. How to check your Insta360 Care / FlexiCare benefits?

You can check your current service status at any time via the Insta360 Care Service Benefits Inquiry page.

4. How to use FlexiCare?
  • Insta360 FlexiCare: If the device has been bound to Insta360 FlexiCare and suffers accidental damage, and the user wishes to replace the device, users in the Chinese Mainland (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas regions) may submit an application through the Insta360 FlexiCare portal.

  • Self-service mail-in repair: If your device is not yet bound to Insta360 Care or FlexiCare, and you wish to have the device further inspected or receive free warranty service, you may use Insta360 FlexiCare. Please go to Insta360 Website > Support > Convenient Service > Insta360 Repair Service, fill in the required information, and ship your device to the designated service center in your region to enjoy the applicable benefits of discounted repair or free warranty service.

5. Is the product replaced under Insta360 Care / Insta360 FlexiCare a used camera?

Products replaced under the Insta360 Care / Insta360 FlexiCare service are brand-new or products with the same functionality as a brand-new product.

IV. Insta360 FlexiCare renewal

1. How to participate in the renewal program?
  • Eligibility requirements: Your device was once subscribed to an Insta360 FlexiCare 1-Year Plan, and the service has expired within the past 15 days.
  • Renewal steps:
    • Go to Insta360 Store > click Coverage > click Insta360 FlexiCare
    • Select your device model, click to purchase Insta360 FlexiCare 1-Year Plan, and enter your product serial number to complete the renewal.

2. What are the differences between the 1-Year and 2-Year Plans of Insta360 FlexiCare? Which should you choose?

If you have not purchased Insta360 FlexiCare yet, we highly recommend the 2-Year Plan. With it, you can receive 4 accidental damage replacement claims over 2 years and 2 years of standard warranty coverage at a better price.

If you have already purchased Insta360 FlexiCare 1-Year Plan, you may renew it for another term at any time after your initial purchase or within 15 days after the service expires via Insta360 Store. Upon renewal, you will receive an additional 1 year of coverage, including 2 accidental damage replacement claims and 1 year of standard warranty. The renewed coverage will automatically take effect immediately after your Insta360 FlexiCare 1-Year Plan expires.

3. What happens to unused benefits from the original 1-Year Plan after renewal?

After renewal, any unused replacement claims from your original Insta360 FlexiCare 1-Year Plan cannot be carried over to the second year.
