What should I do if ONE X2 freezes once it is turned on?

If there is no reaction/response after pressing the power button when the camera is turned on after pressing the power button for 1-2 seconds (while the indicator is blue or green), it means the camera has crashed. Please long-press the power for 7 seconds or take out the battery to force the camera to shut down. If the camera still crashes after turning on, please follow below steps to troubleshoot:

Step 1: Turn off the camera and take out the SD card and the battery, and then connect the camera directly with the power supply to turn it on:

  • If the camera works normally, to locate the problem, please go to the second and third steps to further troubleshoot;
  • If the camera still crashes, the camera might be defective; please refer to the tutorial to update the camera firmware to the latest version.
  • If the camera cannot update, please backup the files, and refer to the tutorial to format the Micro SD card as exFAT and then re-update again;
  • If the problem still occurs after updating or the camera still cannot be updated, please click here to contact us for further help.

Step 2: If the camera works normally as in step 1, keep the power supply connected and insert the Micro SD card to test:

  • If the camera works normally still, the crash is not Micro SD card related, and please go to the Third Step.
  • If the camera crashes after inserting the Micro SD card, it may be a Micro SD card related problem, please back up the Micro SD card files and then refer to the tutorial to format Micro SD card;
  • If the camera still crashes, please try other Micro SD cards in advance or overwrite the Micro SD card.

Step 3: After step 2, please power on the camera once more after putting the battery back into the camera and disconnecting it from the power supply:

  • If the camera works normally, please test the status for a longer period of time.
  • If the camera still crashes, it is battery related; please make a comparison with other batteries; if there is no available battery, please test 2-3 times with the same battery; If the problem happens regularly, it could be confirmed as a battery-related issue.
