File & Image Quality Issues

Q1: What should I do if the video I shot is blurry?

If the video recorded by the camera is blurry, you can refer to the following methods to solve it:

  • Make sure that the lenses on both sides of the camera are not dirty; please try recording again after wiping the lenses with a microfiber cloth.
  • If the video is still blurry, please provide the original video file in insv format and the recording environment to us by clicking here for further support.

Q2: What should I do if there is a lot of noise in my image?

Due to the size of the sensor, noise may increase in low light conditions. It is recommended to reduce the ISO as much as possible for this. In addition, when exporting the video, please check "Remove grain". If the noise is still obvious after exporting, please send the original insv or insp files to us by clicking here for further support.

Q3: What can I do if the video I shot has bad audio?

Please refer to the following steps to verify the issue:

Using an external microphone

  • Please confirm whether the external microphone is in the compatibility list;
  • If it is not in the compatibility list, it is recommended to turn on wind noise reduction and make sure that the firmware is the latest version before trying again. If the video still has bad audio, it may be caused by the compatibility;
  • If it is in the compatibility list, please make sure to enable wind noise reduction and ensure that the firmware is the latest version. If there are any problems, please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

Using the built-in mic

  • Please make sure to enable wind noise reduction and make sure that the firmware is the latest version and try again; if there are any problems, please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

Q4: What should I do if the image has a color difference?

If ONE X2 encounters a color difference in the image, please confirm whether it is a light-dark color difference or a red-green color difference, and then refer to different steps to verify the issue.
Note: The difference between red and green means that the colors on both sides of the stitching are inconsistent: one side has warmer tones, and the other side has cooler tones.

Light and dark color difference

  • Please confirm whether the "Isolated"exposure has been chosen; if so, please use the "Auto" exposure mode to shoot again;
  • Please confirm whether it is caused by the inconsistency of the brightness on both sides of the lenses; if it is, let the side of the camera face the light source and try to shoot again;
  • If there are still light and dark color differences, please click the button in the upper right corner when previewing the video in the app to turn on the "Chromatic Calibration" function to view the effect;
  • If the difference still exists after the above operations, please take a short video with the camera and rotate it outdoors, and please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

Red and green difference

  • When previewing the video in the app, click the button in the upper right corner to turn on the "Chromatic Calibration" function to check the effect;
  • If there is still a difference between red and green, please take a short video with the camera and rotate it outdoors, and please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

Q5: What can I do if FlowState Stabilization is not working well?

ONE X2 has multiple shooting modes, and FlowState for different shooting modes may be different, so in order to further locate the issue, please follow the steps below to confirm:
Please check whether the shooting video mode is in 360 mode or Steady Cam mode;

If it is shooting a single-lens Steady Cam video, please confirm whether it is shooting in basic mode or professional mode:

  • If it is shooting in basic mode, then the stabilization is basic; if you feel that the stabilization is not good enough, please shoot in professional mode and export it with app or Studio to achieve FlowState Stabilization.
  • If it is shooting in professional mode, please use app or Studio to export to view the stabilization effect; if it is not good, please refer to the tutorial to perform Gyro calibration before shooting and check; if it is still abnormal, please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

If it is shooting a 360° video, please confirm whether the recording is an HDR video:

  • If it is HDR video and you are shooting while moving, FlowState would not be as good as a normal video; if it is abnormal, please refer to the tutorial perform Gyro calibration and try shooting again after that; if it is still abnormal, please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.
  • If it is a non-HDR video, please refer to the tutorial, perform a Gyro calibration and try shooting again after that; if it is still not good enough, please send the original insv file to us by clicking here for further support.

Q6: What should I do if a file containing my is damaged?

Please contact us by clicking here to apply for a repair service, but please be aware of the following 2 points:

  • Whether the file can be repaired depends on the degree of damage to the file, so there is no 100% guarantee that the damaged file can be repaired successfully;
  • The image of the file can be repaired, but the gyroscope and sound data are damaged, it cannot be fully repaired.

In order to improve the efficiency of repairing, we need to use the offset in the undamaged files, so please provide the following 2 types of files to customer service:

  • Damaged insv or insp file, and provide relevant resolution and frame rate information;
  • If it is a photo, please provide an undamaged insp photo; if it is a video, please provide an undamaged insv short video.

If the files can be repaired, we will upload it to the cloud server as soon as possible, and provide a download link to you, please download the file within 7 days. If you do not download it in time, the file download link will expire.

Q7: Why does shooting a video generate multiple files in the SD card?

Some shooting modes will generate video files with the prefix "LRV_", and the video files with the prefix "LRV_" are used to aid previewing and AI-powered computer vision analysis for editing and reframing.

The following are the shooting modes that will generate video files with the prefix "LRV_":
360° Modes:

Normal 5.7K@30fps, 25fps, 24fps
4K@30fps
