Mic Pro: 32-bit Float Audio
Mic Pro: 32-bit Float Audio
Applicable Models: Mic Pro
32-bit float audio is a high-dynamic-range audio format. It effectively prevents distortion and clipping (peaking) even when recording loud sounds. When amplifying quiet sections later, it is less prone to introducing noise or hiss. With this feature enabled, you can obtain high-quality audio consistently without repeatedly adjusting gain.
How to enable the 32-bit float audio feature
Swipe down from the top of the receiver touchscreen to enter the Control Center > select "TX Settings" > find "32bit Float".
- Tap "ON" to enable the 32-bit float format.
- Tap "OFF" to switch to the 24-bit float format.
