The microphone features multi-level gain adjustment and compatibility with various devices, allowing flexible adaptation to different recording and live streaming scenarios and helping you achieve clear, clean audio capture. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about audio.

I. Microphone gain

1. How many gain levels does the microphone have, and what are the recommended application scenarios?

Mic Air: When used with the transmitter, the receiver offers 3 gain levels for adjustment. For a relatively quiet environment: Level 1 or 2 is recommended. For a relatively noisy environment: Level 3 is recommended.

Mic Pro: Mic Pro supports manual TX gain adjustment from -12dB to +12dB, as well as an automatic TX gain mode. You can adjust the RX gain appropriately based on the actual recording environment to keep the volume of receiving devices, such as cameras and phones, within the optimal range, effectively preventing audio input clipping and distortion.

II. When used with a mobile phone

1. Does the phone support audio playback while connected with the receiver?

Yes, playback is supported without removing the receiver.

III. Camera audio recording

1. When connected directly to the transmitter via Bluetooth, does X5 support dual-track audio recording from the camera's built-in microphone and the external microphone?

Yes.

2. Can X5 or Ace Pro 2 connect to one transmitter via Bluetooth and another transmitter via a 2.4G receiver simultaneously for dual-track audio recording? (For Mic Air only)

No. For dual-track audio recording on X5 or Ace Pro 2, the camera's built-in microphone is used as one audio channel by default.

In this scenario, the final audio will come from the camera's microphone and the Mic Air connected via Bluetooth. Audio from the Mic Air connected via the receiver will not be used by the camera.
