You can enable Smart Tracking in three ways:
Frame the subject to track on the shooting page, then single-press the joystick to enable Single-Person Tracking, or long-press the joystick to enable Multi-Person Tracking.
On the shooting page, double-tap the subject (person, pet, etc.) you want to track.
Tap the Tracking icon on the left side of the shooting page to enter the tracking control page, then tap the detection box or draw a box around any subject you want to track. For multi-person tracking, you need to draw a box around multiple heads for it to take effect.
Connect the app, go to the shooting page, and draw a box on the frame to select the subject to enable Single-Person Tracking or Multi-Person Tracking.
Yes, up to 8 persons can be tracked.
Supported modes: Photo, Video, PureVideo, Slow-Mo (Slow Motion), Live Photo, and TimeShift.
Unsupported modes: Timelapse, Pano, 360° Pan Shot, Spin Shot, and Dolly Zoom.
Yes, tracking animals and objects is supported with better results for common pets like cats and dogs.
The maximum tracking distance depends on the shooting focal length and the size of the tracked object. For the best tracking performance, we recommend keeping the subject occupying more than 1/10 of the frame.
Yes, you can tap on a rule-of-thirds grid point or freely adjust the joystick to compose the shot.
It is enabled by default when you use the telephoto lens; no manual action is required.
Zoom following is supported across the entire focal range, with a maximum zoom ratio of 12x.
Currently, this mode is not supported.
