Luna Ultra: Overheat Protection Mechanism Related FAQ
Applicable Models: Luna Ultra
The overheat protection mechanism of Insta360 Luna Ultra protects camera hardware, prevents camera damages, and ensures performance stability during shooting. This article answers some frequently asked questions.
1. Why does the camera heat up or trigger the overheat protection?
Prolonged shooting or charging will cause the camera's temperature to rise. When it reaches the high-temperature threshold, the overheat protection is automatically triggered, and recording stops. This mechanism is designed for camera safety and will not damage already captured media.
2. How to deal with camera overheating or reduce heat generation?
- Ventilated environment: Shoot in well-ventilated locations. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or using it in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Parameter adjustment: Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen to access the parameter settings page, and appropriately lower the resolution or frame rate to reduce the power consumption.
- Usage habits: Avoid shooting for long periods while charging or staying connected to the Insta360 app.
- Active heat dissipation: If the camera feels warm, pause recording and place it in a cool area to dissipate heat.
3. Can I continue shooting after the camera's overheat protection is triggered?
Yes. It is recommended to let the camera cool down for a few minutes; you can resume normal shooting once the temperature drops.
