FAQ
1. In which scenarios does the camera enter the Deep Shutdown state?
The camera will automatically perform a deep shutdown in the following situations:
- The camera has been in the Sleep mode for more than 8 hours.
- The main unit battery level is below 10% and the camera has been in the Sleep mode for more than 20 minutes.
- When the main unit battery level is below 3%, the camera will enter the deep shutdown state from the Sleep mode.
- The main unit or Detachable Touchscreen Remote runs out of battery.
Please note: When the camera powers on again after a deep shutdown, it will first display the Luna Logo. In this case, the startup time will be relatively longer, and the camera will not directly enter the shooting page.
2. Can the Detachable Touchscreen Remote remotely control the gimbal to power on/off when detached from the main unit?
- When the camera is in the Deep Shutdown / Cold Start state, the Detachable Touchscreen Remote must be attached to the main unit to power it on.
- In other states, the Detachable Touchscreen Remote can remotely control the main unit to power on/off.
Please note: Please keep the distance between the Detachable Touchscreen Remote and the main unit within 65.6ft (20m) for effective remote control.
3. How to set the camera to power off when switching the camera screen orientation (from landscape to portrait)?
You can follow these steps to set:
- Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to enter the "Quick Menu" > tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > "Screen Rotation Operation" > "Power off".

- Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to enter the "Quick Menu" and tap the "Landscape mode enabled" icon to set the shooting orientation to "Landscape mode".

Please note:
- In the Portrait and Adaptive Portrait/Landscape shooting modes, rotating the screen does not power off the camera in order to ensure a smooth portrait‑shooting experience. To power off the camera, press and hold the Shutter Button.
- Rotating the screen can power off the camera only when you are on the shooting preview page. Rotating the screen when you are on other pages such as the Album or Settings will not power off the camera.
