The camera supports the following three focus modes:

• AF-C: The camera continuously adjusts focus to track moving subjects, suitable for shooting moving objects.
• AF-S: The camera automatically focuses and locks focus when the shutter button is pressed, suitable for static shooting.
• Product Showcase: Suitable for product demonstrations, sales, and similar scenarios, quickly highlighting product details.

The camera supports two metering modes: Matrix and Face Priority.

3. Is HDR enabled by default when recording video with the camera?

The camera's video mode is set to 10-bit HDR ("Active HDR") by default, and this setting cannot be turned off, allowing the camera to capture more detail in the media.

You can choose from the following recording methods as needed:

• Video: Record videos with standard color specifications for broader compatibility.
• Dolby Vision: Enable this feature under "Pro" > "Color Mode" for finer image quality and a superior viewing experience (requires a playback device that supports HDR standards).

Yes. The camera uses the Ultra HDR (Gain Map) technology to capture HDR photos, and this setting cannot be turned off. When viewed on an HDR‑compatible screen, the photos will display a wider dynamic range.

6. Does the camera support shooting long‑exposure video?

• Luna Ultra: Not supported. The slowest shutter speed available on the camera is "1/frame rate" seconds.
• Luna Pro: Supported. The slowest shutter speed available on the camera is 1/2 second.

7. When shooting I‑Log videos or using an ND filter, how can I check the exposure? / Does the camera support in‑camera histogram display?

The camera does not currently support displaying a histogram. You can connect the camera to the Insta360 app, tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) on the shooting page, and enable the histogram to view it.
