Virtual Camera allows adjustment of various visual effects, making it ideal for meetings, live streaming, and similar scenarios. It optimizes image quality for a more professional visual experience.

How to enable Virtual Camera

  1. Open the Insta360 Link Controller client and click the "Virtual Camera" icon on the right to activate the feature.

  1. Once enabled, you can turn on Makeup and Face Filter as needed, and adjust their intensity for meetings, live streaming, and other scenarios.

Please note: When using third-party software for meetings or live streaming, select Insta360 Virtual Camera as your video source.

FAQ

1. What features does Virtual Camera include, and are there resolution or frame rate limitations?

Virtual Camera integrates Smart Whiteboard, Natural Bokeh, Background Blur, Background Replacement, Green Screen, Face Filter, Makeup and other features.

Virtual Camera currently does not support 50/60fps frame rates. Additionally, Face Filter and Makeup features are unavailable in 4K resolution.

2. What are the hardware and system requirements for using Virtual Camera?

Recommended configurations are as follows:

  • CPU: i5-10th Gen or higher; CPU Frequency: 2.1GHz or higher.
  • System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 13.0 or later.
  • RAM: 16GB or higher (8GB RAM may prevent the Virtual Camera from working properly).

3. Does Virtual Camera support skin smoothing?

Skin smoothing is supported. You can access this feature by tapping "Effects" > "Beautify" > "Smooth" in the right sidebar of the Insta360 Link Controller.

Please note: If the skin smoothing feature cannot be found, please confirm that your Insta360 Link Controller has been updated to the latest version.

4. Can PowerPoint or other application windows be used as the background for Virtual Camera?

This feature is not currently supported.
