Firmware Update

Upgrade via Client

Download and install the client software and connect the device to your computer using the official data cable.
Open the client, go to "More Settings" > "About Us" to check the current version. When a new version is detected, click "Update Now" to download the latest firmware and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

Upgrade via U-Disk Mode

1. Connect the device to the computer. Triple-tap the Touch Button and wait for the indicator light to flash, then long-press for 5 seconds. Once the indicator light turns solid blue, the camera has entered U-Disk Mode. Go to the Download page on the official Insta360 website and download the latest firmware version from the corresponding product page.
2. After downloading, open the folder and copy the file into the U-disk named after the device.

The indicator light will turn solid green once the firmware update is successful.

Tips:

• Do not disconnect the USB cable during the firmware update.
• Do not operate the device during the firmware update.
