The camera enables noise cancellation by default, which effectively reduces ambient background noise during audio recording and delivers a clearer audio experience. You can also quickly disable noise cancellation based on needs in specific scenarios such as live streaming and music creation. The operation guide for this feature is shown below.

How to enable or disable noise cancellation

Enable noise cancellation (by default)

Noise cancellation is enabled by default for the camera. If you have disabled this feature, you can restore it by following the steps below:

Link 2 and Link 2C

Open the Insta360 Link Controller > click the three dots "..." in the upper right corner > "Settings" > "Audio" > "Audio Modes" > choose "Voice Suppression" or "Vocal Focus" to enable noise cancellation.

Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro

Open the Insta360 Link Controller > click the three dots "..." in the upper right corner> "Settings" > "Audio" > "Audio Modes" > choose "Original", "Wide", or "Focus" to enable noise cancellation.

Disable noise cancellation

Link 2 and Link 2C

Open the Insta360 Link Controller > click the three dots "..." in the upper right corner > "Settings" > "Audio" > "Audio Modes" > choose "Music Balance" to disable noise cancellation.

Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro

Open the Insta360 Link Controller, click the three dots "…" in the upper right corner > "Settings" > "Audio" > "Audio Modes" > "Original" to disable noise cancellation.

How to make adjustments when there is noise in the camera audio input?

• Link 2, Link 2C, Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro: Open the Insta360 Link Controller > click the three dots "..." in the upper right corner > "More Settings" > "Audio" > "Audio Mode" and switch between different audio modes. Compare effects and choose the mode with the least background noise.
