1. How to view the firmware versions of Insta360 Link 2 Pro and Insta360 Link 2C Pro?
After connecting to the Link Controller, you can click "..." on the upper right corner of the Link Controller > "Settings" > "About Us" to view the camera's firmware version.
*Note: The above screenshot shows the interface of the newer version of Link Controller. Please keep your Link Controller updated to enjoy the latest features.
2. How do I update the firmware?
Method 1: Update via Link Controller.
On the top control bar of the Link Controller, click "..." > "More" > "About Us". When there is a firmware update available, you will see a firmware prompt. Just click "Update".
Method 2: Update via USB Mode.
- Use the included data cable to connect the product to the computer.
- Press the Touch Key three times briefly. At this time, the camera's blue light will flash. Press and hold the Touch Key again for 5 seconds. The camera's blue light will stay on, and it enters USB Mode. You can see a hard drive named "INSTA360" in "This PC".
- Copy the latest firmware downloaded from the official website to the hard drive named "INSTA360".
- Unplug and plug in the device. After the restart is completed, the firmware update will complete itself, and you're free to use the camera normally.
*Reminder:
- Do not disconnect the USB during any firmware update.
- Do not operate the device during any firmware update.
- It is recommended to use Method 1 for a firmware update for the smoothest experience.
