Description

When recording videos using a Link series camera in the Link Controller or third-party software, the saved footage's audio and video are out of sync.

Solution

Link
  1. Try a different media player: Some players can cause sync issues. Using VLC Media Player is recommended.

Please note: PotPlayer is known to potentially have this issue; please avoid using it.

  1. Check external microphone: If you are using an external microphone, try switching to the built-in microphone on the Link camera for recording to see if the issue persists.
  2. Test with a third-party software: Try recording with another software (e.g., OBS) to check if the same issue occurs.
  3. Check client version: Ensure that your Link Controller is updated to the latest version.

Link 2, Link 2C, Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro

Scenario 1: Virtual Camera is enabled

  1. Confirm your computer meets the configuration requirements for using the virtual camera features:

* The Virtual Camera feature does not support 50fps or 60fps.

* The Makeup feature does not support 4K resolution.

* Bokeh does not support 4K resolution on Windows computers.

Background Blur, Background Replacement

Windows devices with AMD graphics cards may experience compatibility issues when using Background Blur and Background Replacement. Please consult Customer Service before purchase if unsure.

Some AMD graphics cards with proven compatibility:

  • AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics
  • AMD Radeon 780M Graphics
  • AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
  • AMD Radeon RX 560 Series
  • AMD RX 6750 GRE
  • AMD Radeon RX 6600

Bokeh

  • Bokeh is only supported on Windows computers with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or higher/RTX 2060 or higher
  • Not supported on Windows computers with AMD graphics cards
  • Not supported with integrated graphics

MacOS

MacOS 13.0 or later

* The Virtual Camera feature does not support 50fps or 60fps. The Makeup feature does not support 4K resolution.

Background Blur, Background Replacement

Bokeh

Only supported on Mac computers with M1 chip or later; not supported on Mac computers with Intel chips.

  1. Free up computer RAM: Close unnecessary background applications to free up more memory.
  2. Reduce resolution: Lower the resolution in the platform you are using. Using 1080P or 720P is recommended.
  3. Change background settings: If you are using "Video Replacement" or "Bokeh" in the virtual background (as shown below), try switching to a different background.

  1. Check client version: Ensure that your Link Controller is updated to the latest version.

Scenario 2: Virtual Camera is disabled
