Link Series: Camera Cannot be Recognized or Detected

Scenario 1: Insta360 Link Controller cannot recognize or detect camera

Solution
  1. Update client: Please update Insta360 Link Controller to the latest version.
  2. Check connection: Use the original USB cable to connect the camera directly to your computer.
  3. Try a different port: Try a USB 3.0 port (possibly with an "SS" mark) first. If using a desktop computer, you can also try a USB 2.0 port on the back panel of the chassis.

Scenario 2: Camera cannot be automatically recognized after OBS is restarted

Description

The camera cannot be automatically recognized every time OBS is restarted. The video feed within OBS only displays normally after manually reconnecting the camera or re-adding the camera.​

Solution

After restarting OBS, select the camera in the software settings and click "Activate". This should allow OBS to recognize the camera normally, eliminating the need to reconnect or re-add the camera.
