How to adjust volume and mute
Method 1: Via Insta360 Link Controller
Click the "..."icon in the upper right corner to open "Settings" > select "Insta360 Link 2 or Link 2C" under "Audio Device" > drag the Volume slider to adjust the volume. Dragging it all the way to the left mutes the microphone.

Method 2: Via your computer system
Open the computer settings, navigate to "Sound" > "Input" > "Volume", and adjust the microphone input volume or mute it.

- Insta360 Link Controller does not support volume adjustment for third-party microphones. If needed, please adjust the volume for those devices in your computer's settings.
- If the volume slider is not available, please update your Link 2 or Link 2C firmware and Insta360 Link Controller to latest versions.

- Voice Focus: Perfectly eliminates ambient noise and highlights your voice. Ideal for quiet environments.
- Voice Suppression: Uses AI noise cancellation to intelligently filter out surrounding voices and environmental noise, ensuring clear conversations. Ideal for noisy environments.
- Music Balance: Uses AI noise cancellation to eliminate ambient noise while preserving background music. Ideal for live streaming and content creation.
3. Does the camera automatically remember the selected audio mode in Insta360 Link Controller?
Yes, it does. The camera will automatically retain the last set audio mode after restarting.
4. If I restart the camera and use streaming software without opening Insta360 Link Controller, will it default to the last audio mode?
- In the 4K high-resolution mode (non-portrait), the camera will default to the last set audio mode even if the client is not opened.
- In the 4K high-resolution portrait mode, only Music Balance is supported. Voice Focus and Voice Suppression are not available in this case.
5. Can I use the Link series microphone separately, without using the Link series camera?
Yes, the microphone can be used independently. For example, in a Microsoft Teams meeting, you can turn off the camera and use only the Link series microphone for audio input.
