Portrait Mode
Q1: How do I set up portrait mode on Insta360 Link 2 and Insta360 Link 2C?
Method 1:
- Place the camera sideways on a tripod.
- Then, in the Insta360 Link Controller, go to "More" > "Compatibility Settings" > "Enable Portrait Resolution and High Frame Rate" > "Confirm".
- After restarting the device, click the second icon in the bottom-left corner of the client, and select the portrait resolution.
Method 2:
- Mount the camera sideways on a tripod.
- Then click the second icon at the bottom left of the Insta360 Link Controller. Enable "Portrait Resolution and High Frame Rate" and click "Confirm".
- After restarting the device, click the second icon at the bottom-left corner of the client again, and select the portrait resolution.
Notes:
- When choosing portrait resolution, you can select 4K, 1080P, or 720P in a 9:16 aspect ratio.
- The placement of Insta360 Link 2C has orientation restrictions (as shown in the figure below). If the image appears inverted, go to "More" > "Other Settings" in the Insta360 Link Controller and choose "Horizontal Flip" or "Vertical Flip" to correct the inversion, or manually adjust the camera placement direction.
