Q1. What features does Virtual Camera offer?
Both Insta360 Link 2 and Insta360 Link 2C support Virtual Camera features, which include Virtual Background, Smart Whiteboard, and Makeup.
Note: Select "Insta360 Virtual Camera" in third-party software to output the virtual camera stream.
For optimal performance with the virtual camera functions, please ensure your computer meets the following recommended specs:
- CPU: 10th Gen Intel Core i5 or higher; CPU clock speed: 2.1GHz or higher. (no specific CPU requirements for Macs)
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 13.0 or later
- RAM: At least 16GB (8GB may not support the virtual camera).
Q3 How to use the virtual camera feature with third-party software?
- Enable Virtual Camera:
- In the Link Controller client, activate the “Virtual Camera” feature.
- Customize settings like virtual background, smart whiteboard, or makeup effects.
- Stream in Third-Party Apps:
- Open your preferred software (e.g., Zoom, OBS).
- Select “Insta360 Virtual Camera” as the video input source.
