The following instructions describe how to add a Link series camera to OBS, enable the virtual camera, and add the Link series camera as an audio source, helping you quickly set up your live streaming or recording scene.
How to add a Link series camera to OBS (single/multiple cameras supported)
- Connect the camera to your computer. Launch OBS > click the "+" button in the "Sources" box at the bottom of the window > select "Video Capture Device" and a pop-up window appears.
- In the pop-up window, check "Create New", enter a name for the camera (e.g., "Link 2C") > click "OK" > select the Link series camera you want to add under "Device" in the new pop-up window.
- Optional (configure parameters)
- Click "Configure Video" to set image parameters such as brightness, contrast, hue, etc.
- Under "Resolution/FPS Type", you can select "Custom" to set the resolution, frame rate, and video format.
Once the settings are complete, click "OK" to finish adding the camera.
- To use multiple cameras simultaneously, repeat the steps above for "Adding the Link series camera". OBS supports displaying video feeds from multiple cameras at the same time.

Please note: On a Windows computer, ensure other applications using the camera's video stream are closed first. The system does not allow multiple applications to use the same camera's video stream simultaneously.
How to use the Virtual Camera feature of Link 2 / Link 2C / Link 2 Pro / Link 2C Pro in OBS
- Connect the camera to your computer. Launch Insta360 Link Controller > click the camera icon in the right navigation bar, and enable the Virtual Camera feature in the pop-up window.

Enabling Virtual Camera Feature for Old Version of Link Controller (v2.2.1 and below)

Enabling Virtual Camera Feature for New Version of Link Controller (v2.2.1 and above)
- Launch OBS. Click the "+" button in the "Sources" box at the bottom of the window > select "Video Capture Device" and a pop-up window appears > check "Create New" in the pop-up window, and enter a name (e.g., "Insta360 Virtual Camera") > click "OK".
- Under "Device", select the virtual camera you want to add > adjust image parameters and resolution settings as needed > click "OK".

Please note: The physical camera (i.e., the video stream obtained directly from the hardware camera) and the virtual camera (usually a simulated video stream created by software) of the same device cannot output video streams simultaneously. If an application is already using the physical camera's video stream, adding the virtual camera will result in a black screen.
How to add a Link series camera's microphone as an audio source
- Connect the camera to your computer. Launch OBS > click the "+" button in the "Sources" box at the bottom of the window > select "Audio Input Capture" and a pop-up window appears.
- Check "Create New", and enter a name for the microphone (e.g., "Link 2C Audio") > click "OK" > under "Device", select the microphone of the Link series camera you want to add > click "OK".
