When subscribing to the Insta360+ Cloud Service, in addition to cloud storage, you can also enjoy benefits such as priority shipping and free extended warranty. The service benefits vary by plan. Below is an explanation of the benefits corresponding to each plan, the binding method for extended warranty / Care benefits, and FAQ.

  • For the free extended warranty service: An extended warranty service for any model (X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, and Ace Pro 2) is redeemable with the Premium Plan. Or an extended warranty service for the wide-angle series model (Ace Pro 2) is redeemable with the Classic Plan.
  • For the free Care / FlexiCare service: An Insta360 Care for any model (X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, and Ace Pro 2) is redeemable with the Premium Plan. Or an Insta360 Care for the wide-angle series model (Ace Pro 2) is redeemable with the Classic Plan.
  • The free Care / FlexiCare service varies by camera model. X3 and X2 come with Insta360 Care; X5, X4 Air and X4 come with Insta360 FlexiCare; Ace Pro 2 comes with Insta360 FlexiCare (Ace Pro 2 Flexicare Exclusive Edition).

Please note:

  • Starting from March 20, 2025, the free physical benefits (i.e., 20% off accessories, a purchase discount for your next camera) is discontinued.
  • For users of the cloud service monthly plan who have redeemed the extended warranty benefit, if the subscription is canceled, the extended warranty benefit bound to the device will become invalid simultaneously.

How to bind extended warranty benefit

  • Regular binding

After purchasing Insta360+ Cloud Service, you will receive an email. Follow the instructions in the email to bind your camera with the free extended warranty benefit.

  • Special case (Camera activated for over 15 days)

You can complete the binding within 2 years after the camera is activated. The maximum warranty period is 2 years from the activation date, which means you can enjoy a 2-year warranty.

Please note: If you have participated in the Insta360 app's "3-month free extended warranty" promotion, your actual warranty period will be 2 years + 3 months.

How to bind Care / FlexiCare benefit
  • Regular binding

After purchasing the cloud service, you will receive an email. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the binding process (must be done within 30 days of camera activation).

  • Special case
  • If you subscribed to the cloud service within 30 days of camera activation but failed to bind the benefit in a timely manner, thus not receiving the free Care / FlexiCare—please contact Insta360 Customer Support for assistance.

FAQ

1. Can the free service benefits (Care / FlexiCare / Extended Warranty) of Insta360+ be bound to any camera model?

Currently, they can only be bound to Insta360+ compatible models, namely X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, and Ace Pro 2. Other models are not supported at this time.

2. Does the free extended warranty benefit of Insta360+ take effect automatically? Do I need to purchase an extended warranty separately? What is the warranty period?

The extended warranty benefit does not take effect automatically. After purchasing the cloud service, you will receive an email. Follow the instructions in the email to bind the free extended warranty benefit to your camera.

There is no need to purchase an extended warranty separately—the free extended warranty can be directly bound and used.

The extended warranty adds one year to the original one-year warranty period, resulting in a total of two years of warranty service.

Please note: Each Insta360 product is eligible for the corresponding extended warranty service only once.

3. If the camera has already been bound with an extended warranty service and Care / FlexiCare before purchasing Insta360+ Cloud Service, can I still enjoy the free service benefits?

Extended warranty service: Each Insta360 product is eligible for only one extended warranty purchase. You cannot repeatedly bind the free extended warranty to the same camera, but you can bind it to another compatible model.

Please note: You can complete the binding within 2 years after the camera is activated. The maximum warranty period is 2 years from activation, which means you can enjoy a 2-year warranty.

4. If I have already purchased Care / FlexiCare and then subscribed to Insta360+, can I get a refund for the purchased Care service?

No, you can't.

5. If I subscribe to an annual plan, can I bind the free service benefits (i.e., Care and Extended Warranty Service) to different cameras?

Yes, you can. The two service benefits can be bound to different cameras respectively.
