  1. Open the Insta360 app, go to the "Me" page > find and tap "Accessory Settings" > select the "Latest Firmware Upgrade" option (ensure the Insta360 app is updated to the latest version).

  1. After the Insta360 app discovers the remote, tap your remote's name in the list to connect. Once connected, tap "Start Upgrade". If the firmware is already up-to-date, the page will display "Updated to the latest version".

  1. After the update is complete, you can check on the remote to see if the update is successful.

If you encounter problems during the update process, please troubleshoot by following these steps:

  1. Check Bluetooth compatibility

Ensure your phone or tablet supports Bluetooth 5.0 or later (this can be determined by the system version: 10.0 or above for Android devices, 2.0.0 or above for HarmonyOS devices, and 12.0 or above for iOS devices). If not, use a compatible device and try again.
