The GPS Preview Remote screen is made of tempered glass. Although this protects from bumps or drops, the screen may become damaged or scratched.
Avoid hard, sharp objects like sand, and always store the device correctly.
If the remote is not thoroughly dried after using in/around water, the buttons may feel harder to press.
If you use the remote in cold weather or after an extended period, the buttons may be harder to press than usual.
This is normal, and pressing the buttons can help them work normally.
If the set time on your device keeps adjusting automatically, check if the automatic time setting switch is enabled.
Turn off the automatic time setting switch to maintain manual control of the time.
There are currently three themes available. Please check our firmware updates, as new themes may be added.
The GPS Preview Remote interface and instructions are available in 16 languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, German, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Malay, Indonesian, Dutch, Vietnamese, and Polish.
To switch languages, swipe down from the top of the remote screen > Settings "⚙" > "Language".
The GPS Preview Remote screen typically doesn't automatically turn off when recording a video.
To turn the screen off during recording, you can set the Auto Sleep Timer when you use the Auto Sleep During Recording feature.
For instance, if you set the Auto Sleep Timer for 10 seconds and enable "Auto Sleep During Recording", the screen will turn off automatically 10 seconds into the recording.
When the remote is connected to the camera for Live Preview, it's normal for the remote to heat up slightly due to power consumption. Similarly, slightly heating up when charging is normal.
