PureShot + Raw (DNG)

A JPG photo processed by the in-camera PureShot algorithm and an original Raw photo are saved simultaneously.

PureShot

A JPG photo processed by the in-camera PureShot algorithm is saved. This photo format features less noise and a brighter image.

GO 3S

JPG

A JPG photo is saved.

JPG + Raw (DNG)

A JPG photo and an original Raw photo are saved.

PureShot

An original JPG file is saved. To get a JPG photo processed by the PureShot algorithm (featuring less noise and a brighter image), you need to export it via the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.

GO 3

insp

An original insp file is saved. To export it as a JPG photo, you need to use the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.

insp + Raw (DNG)

An original insp file and an original Raw file are saved simultaneously.

PureShot

An original insp file and an original Raw file are saved simultaneously. To get a JPG photo processed by the PureShot algorithm (featuring less noise and a brighter image), you need to export it via the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.

All video files are stored in MP4 format.

Video, FreeFrame Video, and Loop Recording

MP4 + LRV

The camera will generate one main MP4 video file, plus a low-resolution LRV file for preview.

Please note: LRV files are low-resolution video files generated in real time by the camera for playback and preview. LRV files are not created in the Photo Mode.
