GO Series: Pre-recording
GO Series: Pre-recording
Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra
The pre-recording feature supports pre-buffering of frames and continuous recording. It automatically saves the footage captured 10–30 seconds before you press the shutter button, as well as the continuous recording after the button is pressed, and merges these two clips into a single, complete video file. This avoids wasting device storage space on inefficient recordings, making it ideal for capturing fleeting, exciting moments such as a fish biting the hook or a huge wave crashing in.
How to enable pre-recording
GO Ultra
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu, tap the "Pre-recording" icon, and set the pre-recording duration to one of these options: 10s/15s/30s.
You can enable the "Laughter Capture" feature in the Pre-recording Settings page. Once enabled, the camera will automatically start recording when laughter is detected, and stop recording automatically after 30 seconds.
Please note:
- The pre-recording feature is supported only when GO Ultra's firmware is updated to v1.2.19 or later. We recommend updating your device to the required version before using this feature.
- This feature is only available in the following shooting modes: Video, PureVideo, Toddler Titan, and FreeFrame Video.

GO 3 and GO 3S
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu, then tap the "PRE" icon. The pre-recording duration can be set to: 10s / 15s / 30s.
Please note: The pre-recording feature is only available in the Video Mode and FreeFrame Video Mode.
