GO Ultra: Pause Recording and Cancel Recording Features

Mastering the Pause Recording and Cancel Recording features can significantly enhance your shooting efficiency and final video quality. Below you'll find detailed instructions to help you use these features effortlessly.

How to use the Pause Recording feature

1. Pause recording: During video recording, tap the red button in the middle-bottom of the screen to pause.
2. Resume recording: When recording is paused, tap the red button on the screen or the physical shutter button again to resume.
3. Resume after shutdown: If you shut down the camera while recording is paused, you can continue recording the previous clip when you turn it on next time.
4. Resume from album: Find the video clip in the album, then tap the red button in the bottom-right corner of the clip to continue recording.

Please note: This feature is only available in Video, Toddler Titan, Slow Motion, PureVideo, and TimeShift modes.

How to use the Cancel Recording feature?

1. Enable the feature: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Shortcut menu, tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > "General", and enable the "Long press to cancel shooting" option.
2. Cancel recording: After enabling, start recording in any mode, then long-press the shutter button to immediately cancel and delete the current recording.
