GO Series: Interval Recording
Applicable Models: GO 3S and GO Ultra
With Interval Recording enabled, the camera automatically records clips at set intervals, letting you capture great moments without continuous operation.
Instructions
In Video mode, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the "Shortcut" menu, tap the "Interval Recording" icon, and set the scene and parameters. The method for using Interval Recording varies by model—follow the instructions below:

GO 3S
- Only when GO 3S is not in the Action Pod: Remove the camera from the Action Pod, press the Action Pod's power button to shut down both units. The camera will automatically start the Interval Recording task and the indicator light will turn orange.
- Whether GO 3S is in the Action Pod or not: Press the Action Pod's power button to shut down both of the units. The camera will automatically start the Interval Recording task and the indicator light will turn orange.
Please note:
- After a single Interval Recording task starts, if you press the Action Pod's power button to turn it on, the camera will power on and switch to Video mode to continue shooting. You need to manually press the shutter button to stop, and this recording will not be counted as an Interval Recording session.
- If you select "Only when GO 3S is not in the Action Pod" and then place the camera into the Action Pod, the camera will power on and switch to Video Mode to continue shooting. You need to manually press the shutter button to stop, and this recording will not be counted as an Interval Recording session.
GO Ultra
- Standalone Camera shooting independently: Remove the camera from the Action Pod to start the Interval Recording task and the indicator light will turn orange. When the camera is placed back into the Action Pod for charging, automatic recording will pause.
- Shooting with the Action Pod: No further operation is required. The camera will automatically perform the Interval Recording task whether it is inside or outside the Action Pod.
FAQ
1. What scenarios is Interval Recording suitable for?
Interval Recording is ideal for long-duration outdoor scenarios, especially those where you can't focus on operating the camera—such as parent-child activities, pet interactions, cycling, and running. It allows you to stay present and enjoy the moment.
2. Can the Interval Recording feature work normally when the camera shuts down due to low battery?
When the camera's battery is below 10%, if the camera is in the waiting phase of Interval Recording, it will stop performing subsequent tasks. If the camera is in the middle of an Interval Recording task, it will stop recording and automatically save the captured footage.
3. How to abort the Interval Recording task during the camera's waiting phase?
During the waiting phase of Interval Recording, simply turn on the Action Pod, tap the Interval Recording icon at the top of the screen, and select "Stop Task". The footage recorded earlier will be saved automatically.

4. Can I perform normal recording during the waiting phase of Interval Recording?
Yes. During the waiting phase of the Interval Recording task, you can turn on the Action Pod and control the camera for normal recording. If the next scheduled interval falls within that recording, Interval Recording is postponed once and resumes when the original interval period ends.
5. After checking "Only when GO 3S is not in the Action Pod" or "Standalone Camera shooting independently", why does the camera's indicator light flash blue several times at intervals when the camera is placed inside the Action Pod?
The camera's indicator light flashes blue intermittently to periodically detect whether the camera is inside the Action Pod. Only when the camera detects is outside the Action Pod will it perform the Interval Recording task at the set intervals.
