If you wish to achieve more cinematic footage by color grading during post-production, it is recommended to enable the I-Log Mode for shooting. In this mode, the camera can capture a higher dynamic range and richer color details, providing more flexibility in color grading during post-production.
How to enable the I-Log Mode
- Please ensure that your camera firmware has been updated to v1.2.19 or later.

- Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen to access the Exposure Settings page, then tap the "I-Log" icon to enable it.
Please note:
- The I-Log Mode is only supported in the following shooting modes: Video, FreeFrame Video, and Loop Recording.
- The I-Log Mode is not supported in the following resolution & frame rate settings: 4K/2.7K/1080P at 48fps or higher.
How to preview color effects restored with LUT application on the camera
- Swipe left from the right edge of the screen and tap the "I-Log" icon.
- Turn on "Color Preview" in the lower right of the screen.
Please note: Preview is only supported in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
FAQ
1. Which features become unavailable when the I-Log Mode is enabled on the camera?
- Clarity Zoom cannot be activated by double-tap.
- Active HDR cannot be turned off.
- H.264 encoding is not supported.
- Filter selection is not supported.
2. Can the I-Log Mode be enabled or disabled when recording is paused?
No, it is not supported.
3. Do footage files shot in the I-Log Mode take up more storage space?
Yes. The camera uses a higher bitrate when recording in the I-Log Mode to preserve high dynamic range details to the greatest extent. As a result, the generated video files will occupy more storage space.
