Waterproofing
- The GO Ultra Standalone Camera is waterproof to a depth of 33ft (10m) and can be used for underwater shooting without the Dive Case.
- Before shooting underwater, please replace the lens guard with the AquaLens to get the best shooting quality. The AquaLens is sold separately and cannot be used with the Dive Case.
- The GO Ultra Action Pod is IPX4 splashproof, with and without the Standalone Camera installed. Do not use it underwater without the Dive Case.
- Before use, ensure that the pogo pins on the back of the Standalone Camera and the front of the Action Pod are not stained or oxidized.
- After using the GO Ultra Standalone Camera in salt water:
- Gently rinse the surface of the camera with fresh water.
- Soak in fresh water for 10 minutes.
- Wipe it dry with a soft cloth and place it in a ventilated place to dry naturally. Once the surface of the camera is dry, remove the battery and microSD card.
Maintaining optimal waterproof performance:
- Do not use a hair dryer on the microphone and speaker, as this will damage the internal waterproof membrane.
- Do not operate the camera for a long time (>1 hour) outside the recommended temperature range (working environment temperature -20°C~40°C) or in extremely humid environments, such as saunas or hot springs.
- Do not operate the camera for a long time (>1 hour) underwater without the Dive Case.
- Do not store GO Ultra in an environment with high temperatures or humidity, or with perfumes and cosmetics to avoid contact corrosion which will affect the use of the product.
- Do not allow the camera to enter water at a high speed. Excessive impact against the surface of water may damage the camera's waterproofing capability.
- Do not drop the camera or subject it to other forms of impact.
- Do not disassemble the GO Ultra Standalone Camera.
