Activation

The first time you use GO Ultra, you need to activate it with the Insta360 app. You can download the Insta360 app in the following ways:

1. After turning on the camera for the first time, scan the QR code that appears on the touchscreen.
2. Scan the QR code on the accessory box.
3. Download the Insta360 app from the Downloads page of the official Insta360 website.
   
   

After downloading the app, follow the steps below to activate the camera:

1. Turn on the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions on your phone.
2. Open the Insta360 app, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the screen to search for devices, and find GO Ultra. The last 6 digits of the camera's serial number will be displayed in the pop-up window. Authorize the connection on your smartphone, then tap the prompt on the Action Pod to confirm the activation.
3. If there is a new version of firmware to download, the Insta360 app will show a download prompt. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update. Once this is complete, follow the prompts on the Insta360 app to complete the activation.
