GO Series: Camera Overheating

GO Series: Camera Overheating

Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

If your camera exhibits symptoms such as rapid heating, triggering overheat protection in a short time, or automatically stopping recording due to overheating, please resolve them with the following methods:

Why your GO Series camera gets warm

GO Series cameras combine a pocket-size body with high-performance hardware, so they naturally warm up during use—this is normal. The back of the camera is made of a special material to assist in heat dissipation. It is recommended that you try not to touch the back of the camera during use.

In addition, the camera may trigger a high-temperature protection mechanism after prolonged shooting/charging. This means that when the temperature reaches the high-temperature threshold, the camera will automatically stop recording and shut down to ensure the safety of the device.

Suggestions for improving camera heating or overheating

If heating or overheating occurs, please do not worry. We recommend that you:

  • Place the camera still for a while and resume shooting once it cools down naturally.
  • Record in well-ventilated spots, and avoid exposing the camera to direct sunlight or poorly ventilated environments for a long time.
