Applicable Models: GO 3S and GO Ultra

The camera supports Apple's "Find My" feature. After completing the binding process, you can check its location via iOS devices such as iPhones and Apple Watches, helping you quickly locate the device.

How to enable Apple Find My

  1. Swipe down from the top of the Action Pod screen to access the "Shortcut" menu, then tap "Settings" (Gear icon⚙) > scroll down to find "Apple Find My" and tap "Start Pairing".
  2. Open the "Find My" app on your Apple device and add your camera under "Devices".
  3. Once connected successfully, you can view the camera's location through the "Find My" app. Tap "Play Sound", and the camera will beep.

Please note:

  • This feature is not available when the camera has no power.
  • The feature only supports locating the camera. The Action Pod cannot be retrieved if lost.
  • This feature is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 13 or later.

FAQ

1. If the camera has been removed from the "Find My" app on the original iOS device, can it be connected to another iOS device?

After successfully removing the camera from the device list in the "Find My" app on the old device, you can directly reconnect the camera to a new iPhone without resetting the camera.

2. What is the maximum range for locating with "Apple Find My"?

This feature relies on the "Find My" network of iOS devices. Regardless of the distance, as long as there are iOS devices near the camera, it can be located and tracked.

3. Can the camera be found via "Apple Find My" when it is turned off?

As long as the camera still has power, it can be located even when powered off. If the camera's battery is completely drained, the "Find My" app will show the camera’s last known location before the battery died.

4. Can an Apple Watch be used to find the camera?

Yes. You first need to open the "Find My" app on your Apple Watch, then follow the instructions for the "Apple Find My" feature displayed on the Action Pod to add the camera to the "Find My" device list on the watch. Once added successfully, you can use the watch to locate the camera.

5. After connecting the camera to the "Find My" App on iOS devices, can I control the camera to play a sound via the App?

Yes.

6. Do other models support Apple Find My feature?

No. The Apple Find My feature is currently only available for GO Ultra and GO 3S. Other cameras do not support this function temporarily due to hardware limitations.
