Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

To help you use the camera safely in various environments, this article outlines key operational points, common questions, and post-use precautions for underwater operation. This will assist you in using the camera correctly and enjoying underwater shooting with peace of mind.

1. Can the camera be used underwater with a ND filter attached?

The ND filter is rated IPX6—safe from rain or splashes, but not built for long soaks or deep-water dives.

2. Do I need to remove the Lens Guard when using the Dive Case?

No. You can directly use the Dive Case underwater with the Lens Guard attached.

3. What should I do if water gets into the USB port?

Do not charge the camera directly. Please follow these steps:

Step 1: Thoroughly blot away all moisture using a tissue.

Step 2: Use a hairdryer (preferably set to cool air mode) to blow dry the USB port until it is completely dry. Ensure it is completely dry before attempting to charge.

4. How to clean the camera after it comes into contact with seawater?

  • Rinse it gently with fresh water.
  • Wipe it dry and place it at rest, or place it in a rice container or desiccator to dry thoroughly. Make sure all moisture is completely removed before using or charging the camera.

5. Can the camera be immersed in liquids such as alcohol or soup?

It is not recommended to immerse it in liquids with excessively high temperatures. If it comes into contact with such liquids, rinse it with fresh water and dry it completely before use.

6. How long can the camera be used underwater with the Dive Case?

It is recommended to limit each underwater shoot to 1 hour. Prolonged use of the Dive Case may pose a risk of water ingress.

7. How can I reduce accidental screen touches when using the camera underwater?

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Lock" (the lock-shaped icon). This activates the touch lock mode. To unlock, simply swipe up or right as prompted.
