FAQ

1. What is the wireless image transmission control distance between the Action Pod and the camera?
  • GO 3 and GO 3S: Within 5 meters in an open, interference-free environment (Bluetooth connection)
  • GO Ultra: Within 30 meters in an open, interference-free environment (Wi-Fi connection)

2. Can the Action Pod be used to control shooting when the camera is used underwater?

The Bluetooth signal is weak underwater, so the camera may not connect to the Action Pod.

3. Why is the image transmission quality of the Action Pod low or transmission laggy or delayed?
  • The preview quality will be compressed to a certain extent when shooting outside the Action Pod, but this does not affect the final footage quality. If you want clearer preview footage, it is recommended to place the camera inside the Action Pod.
  • Preview lag may also occur due to the Action Pod’s decoding performance, signal strength in the use environment, and stabilization level settings.

4. Does the camera support viewing album files when remotely connected to the Action Pod?

GO 3 and GO 3S: Not supported

GO Ultra: Supported

5. How to switch between paired cameras (only for GO 3 and GO 3S)?

The powered-on Action Pod will automatically connect to the powered-on camera placed inside it.

  • Example: When the Action Pod is remotely connected to GO 3, place a powered-on GO 3S into the Action Pod, and the Action Pod will automatically switch to GO 3S.
  • Place GO 3 back in to switch again.

Please note:

  • If you do not need to use two cameras at the same time, it is recommended to turn off one to save power.
  • The Action Pod interface will display according to the connected camera model (GO 3 / GO 3S).
