Q1 Are there any precautions for using GO 3 underwater?

Before using GO 3 in water, make sure the included Lens Guard is screwed on tightly. GO 3 is not waterproof without the Lens Guard.
The Action Pod is not waterproof. After using GO 3 in water, make sure to dry GO 3 completely before returning it to the Action Pod.
Note: The Action Pod is IPX4 water-resistant with GO 3 placed in it, but should not be used underwater.

Q2 What should I do if GO 3 won't turn on after using it underwater?

Q3 What is the waterproof rating/depth of GO 3?

GO 3 has a waterproof rating of IPX8. When using the main camera with the standard lens gurad, it can achieve a waterproof depth of 5 meters. Please note that Action Pod is not waterproof and should not be used under water.

Q4 Will the GO 3 camera be damaged after being used in seawater?

The GO 3 camera can be used in seawater. It's recommended to immerse it in fresh water for about 10 minutes after use, gently rinse it, and then shake off the water droplets from the surface.
