Q1 What should I do if GO 3 doesn't turn on?

If GO 3 doesn't turn on, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure that both GO 3 and the Action Pod are charged. Place GO 3 into the Action Pod and connect the charging cable for 10 minutes before attempting to power it on.
2. Remove GO 3 from the Action Pod and long press the GO 3 button and Action Pod power button for 7 seconds to reset them. Place GO 3 in the Action Pod and press the power button for 1-2 seconds to see if it can be turned on.
3. If GO 3 still doesn't turn on after the steps above, please record a quick video showing the issue and send it to Insta360 support for further assistance.

Q2 What should I do if GO 3 won't charge?

If GO 3 won't charge after placing it in the Action Pod with the charging cable connected, please follow these steps:

1. If this is your first time charging GO 3, make sure you have removed the sticker on the back.
2. Make sure the temperature is within the recommended operating range of -20℃ to 40℃ (-4°F to 104°F).
3. Please make sure GO 3 is placed correctly into the Action Pod and the charging points are clean and dry.
4. Please remove GO 3 from the Action Pod and long press the GO 3 button and Action Pod power button for 7 seconds to reset them. Place GO 3 back into the Action Pod and connect the charging cable.
   If GO 3 still won't charge, please record a quick video of the charging process and send it to Insta360 support for further assistance.

Q3 What should I do if the Action Pod won't charge?

1. Please confirm you are using a 5V 2A adapter and a USB-C cable (provided) to charge the Action Pod.
2. Make sure the charging port is clean and free of any debris.
3. Press the power button for 7 seconds to reset the Action Pod, and then connect the charging cable.

Q4 What is the battery capacity and run time of GO 3 when fully charged?

The battery capacity is 310mAh. GO 3 can record in Video mode for 45 minutes when fully charged. With the fully-charged Action Pod, the total recording time is up to 170 minutes.
Note: There is no single-segment recording time limit. GO 3 saves the video every 30 minutes and continues recording after saving. For example, if you record for 40 minutes, the video will be saved as a 30-minute segment and a 10-minute segment.

Q5 How long does it take to fully charge the Action Pod?

It takes 47 minutes to charge the Action Pod to 80% and 65 minutes for a full charge. Please use a 5V 2A adapter to charge it.

Q6 Does GO 3 support simultaneous shooting and charging?

Yes. While GO 3 is in the Action Pod, it will continue to be powered, but not recharged. You may connect the Action Pod to an external power source to charge while shooting, but please be aware that this may affect the battery's lifespan.

Q7 How long will GO 3's battery stay charged when not in use?

GO 3 will stay charged for 1 month at 25°C (77°F) while removed from the Action Pod, and 3 months at 25°C (77°F) with both the camera and the Action Pod fully charged and the GO 3 placed in the Action Pod.

Q8 Why does the Action Pod battery drain quickly?

When GO 3 is used inside the Action Pod, the Action Pod battery is used first. If the camera is frequently operated while placed in the Action Pod, the battery may drain faster.
Note: Once the Action Pod's battery level reaches 15%, you'll have the option to either continue charging GO 3 or stop charging it.

Q9 After a long time without use, why can't GO 3 be turned on when connected to the charging cable?

If GO 3 is left unused for a long time, the battery may be entirely depleted. In this case, please charge the battery for 5-8 minutes after connecting it to the charging cable. Once recharged for several minutes, you may turn GO 3 on normally.

Q10 Why can't GO 3 be turned on after the Action Pod displays a low battery and automatically shuts down?

When the Action Pod displays low battery and shuts down, the battery life is nearly depleted. Repeatedly turning the camera on and off in a low battery state can damage the battery's lifespan. If this happens, please charge the Action Pod before proceeding.
