GO 2's auto exposure adjusts the exposure parameters according to the lighting environment and camera movement during shooting. Visual noise may increase, for example, when moving GO 2 quickly in a low-light environment. It is therefore recommended not to move too fast and to lower the ISO as much as possible to reduce noise (for example, 800 or less) in low-light environments. In addition, when exporting the video, please check "Remove grain". If the noise is still obvious after exporting, please send the original mp4 or insp files to us by clicking here for further support.
If the video recorded by the camera is overexposed, please check the exposure mode of the recorded video. If the exposure mode is set to manual mode, it is recommended to use the automatic exposure mode or lower the ISO and increase the shutter speed.
If your video is blurry, please follow the steps below to try to solve it:
If you are viewing GO 2 videos on your computer and they are in a spherical/circular format, it means that the videos were recorded in “Pro Video” mode. In this case, please click here and install the Insta360 Studio software and process your Pro Video files via Insta360 Studio. Recording a spherical file offers some benefits over a standard file. Benefits of recording in Pro Video mode include: Superior FlowState stabilization and horizon levelling; Option to readjust FOV (UltraWide, ActionView, Linear and Narrow) in post-production; Ability to change aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16 and 1:1) in post-production. If you prefer to use the standard (non-circular) video file, please record in “Video” mode. Pro tip: You can customize button controls to your preferred recording modes. To do this, connect your GO 2 to your mobile device, then under “Settings” of the Insta360 app, go to “Button Settings” and select your preferred recording modes. Click here for detailed tutorial.
