Flow Series: Failure to Connect to the Insta360 App via Bluetooth
Applicable Models: Flow, Flow Pro, Flow 2, and Flow 2 Pro
Description
- A Bluetooth connection failure alert appears in the Insta360 app.
- The gimbal's Bluetooth signal cannot be detected in the Insta360 app.
- The gimbal's Bluetooth signal is not detectable in the phone's settings.
Solution
- Update the Insta360 app to the latest version.
- Reset gimbal's Bluetooth: Press and hold both the Trigger Button and Shutter Button for three seconds. A series of "beep-beep-beep" sounds indicates a successful Bluetooth reset. Then try reconnecting.
- Reset Bluetooth on your phone: Locate the "Bluetooth" setting on your phone > unpair the phone from the gimbal > turn off Bluetooth > turn Bluetooth back on and search for the gimbal's Bluetooth signal > tap the gimbal's Bluetooth name to connect.
*Bluetooth name: Flow / Flow Pro / Flow 2 Pro + the last six digits of the product serial number.

Please note:
- Please ensure the Insta360 app has been granted permissions for Bluetooth, local network, and mobile data.
- The gimbal can only be connected to one phone at a time. If the gimbal is already connected to a phone via Bluetooth, its Bluetooth signal will not be detectable by other phones.
