Accessory Compatibility

Q1. Are Flow Pro and Flow accessories cross-compatible?
Yes.

Q2. Can I use external smartphone lenses with Flow Pro?
Yes, but please note that heavy external lenses may affect the balance of the gimbal.

Q3. Is Flow Pro compatible with third-party lights or external microphones?
Flow Pro is not compatible with third-party spotlights. You can purchase the Flow Pro Spotlight for professional lighting.

Flow Pro has a built-in cold shoe for use with external microphones. Flow Pro will not impact the microphone's performance. Tested Mics are DJI Mic, Mammoth Lark M1 and Rode Wireless GO II.

Note: Heavy external microphones may cause the gimbal motor to heat up and trigger overheating protection.

Q4. How do you turn the Flow Pro Spotlight on and off?
Long press the brightness adjustment button for about 2 seconds. The Flow Pro Spotlight will automatically turn off when Flow Pro is powered off.

Q5. Does the Flow Pro Spotlight need to be charged?
The Spotlight does not have a battery and does not require charging. To turn it on, plug the USB cable into Flow Pro's Type-C port (Power Output Port).

Q6. Are the brightness and color temperature of the Flow Pro Spotlight adjustable?
Yes. There are three brightness levels to choose from: high, medium and low.

While turned on, press the left button to adjust between three different color temperature modes: cold, warm, or mixed.

Q7. Is the Flow Pro Spotlight rotatable?
Yes, you can rotate 180° in each direction for your front or rear-facing phone camera. Do not forcefully rotate the Spotlight in the opposite direction to avoid damage.

Q8. Can I use Flow Pro with external tripods?
Yes. The mounting hole at the bottom of Flow Pro is a standard 1/4" hole, which is compatible with tripods with a 1/4'' screw thread.

Q9. Can the built-in tripod be used outdoors on rough and uneven terrain?
Flow Pro has a built-in tripod for use on stable, flat surfaces without wind. Do not use it on sandy ground. To prevent instability, we do not recommend using the built-in tripod and selfie stick together.

For more extreme weather conditions, we recommend the All Purpose Tripod.

Q10. Can Flow Pro be customized? Are Custom Inserts compatible with Flow?
Yes. Flow Pro has easily swappable Custom Inserts to make your Flow Pro unique. Custom Inserts are also compatible with Flow.
