The Gesture Control feature allows you to control shooting and tracking more conveniently. Below are the detailed instructions.

How to enable or disable Gesture Control?

1. Connect to the Insta360 app and navigate to the shooting page.
2. Tap the "Palm icon" on the right.
3. Tap the feature button to enable or disable Gesture Control for "Take Photo / Start Recording", "Single-Person Tracking + Shooting", or "Single/Multi-Person Tracking + Shooting".

*Once this feature is enabled, you can easily control the gimbal with specific gestures without tapping the screen.

Sync settings (available on Insta360 app v2.10.0 and above)

You can enable Tracking+, Active Zoom Tracking, and Auto Zoom simultaneously when activating tracking via custom gestures. Follow these steps:

Tap the arrow below "Single-Person Tracking" or "Multi-Person Tracking" > enter the Sync Settings page > select the features you want to enable synchronously.

Please note: Multi-Person Tracking and Active Zoom Tracking are only supported on Flow 2.

FAQ

1. Does the gimbal support Gesture Control when tracking with iPhone's native camera?

Currently, Gesture Control is not supported on iPhone's native camera. You can use the Insta360 app to experience this feature.

2. ​With the Live Mode enabled in the app, does the gimbal support Gesture Control during live streaming on third-party apps?

Yes. Gesture Control shall be enabled in the Live Mode page of the Insta360 app (as shown in the figure below). However, due to permission restrictions of third-party apps, during live streaming on such apps, Gesture Control only supports "Start Tracking" and "Stop Tracking", and does not support the "Stop Recording" operation.

3. When activating tracking on the gimbal via Gesture Control, the phone’s flash flickers. How can I turn it off?

It's not supported to disable flash currently.
