1. Which phones support NFC pairing with Flow 2 Pro?

Flow 2 Pro pairs via NFC on both iPhone and Android.

  • iPhone:
    Unlock the iPhone and tap the iPhone to the NFC tag on Flow 2 Pro. The iPhone will display a DockKit pairing pop-up. Tap 'Connect' to complete the pairing. After the initial pairing, there's no need to pair via NFC again. Flow 2 Pro will automatically connect with your phone.

  • Android:
    Simply tapping the NFC area of an Android phone to the NFC tag on the gimbal will automatically launch the Insta360 app.

    • Screen Unlocked: Tap the NFC tag to automatically launch the Insta360 app.
    • Screen Locked: After unfolding Flow 2 Pro, the native camera app will be automatically launched by tapping the NFC tag.

2. What should I do if the Flow 2 Pro fails to pair via NFC?

  • If you are unable to pair using the NFC feature, please check the following:
    • Ensure that the NFC area on your phone is close to the NFC mark on Flow 2 Pro. If there is no response, move your phone a few millimeters or take it away from the Flow 2 Pro for at least 10 seconds, then touch the NFC areas again to connect.
    • Make sure the NFC feature on your phone is enabled. Please refer to your phone's instructions for activation.
    • Do not place any metal objects near the NFC mark on Flow 2 Pro.
    • Do not touch the Flow 2 Pro with two or more phones at the same time.
    • If other NFC-based applications are running on your phone, close them.
  • If pairing still fails, follow these troubleshooting steps in sequence:
    • Restart the gimbal: Long press the power button until it emits a sound to turn off the gimbal. Press the power button until it emits a sound again to restart it, then try pairing again.
    • Reset the gimbal's Bluetooth: Long press both the trigger and shutter buttons until the gimbal emits a sound, indicating that the Bluetooth has been successfully reset. Try pairing again.
    • Restart your phone's Bluetooth: Turn off your phone's Bluetooth and attempt NFC pairing again. Follow the prompt to reactivate Bluetooth and then proceed with pairing.
    • Restart your phone: Restart your phone and attempt NFC pairing once more.
