Q1. What is the battery capacity and runtime of Flow 2?

The battery capacity is 1100 mAh with a runtime of approximately 10 hours*.
*Measured at room temperature (25℃/77°F), gimbal balance adjusted, device placed horizontally, AI Tracker/Spotlight not used.

Q2. How long does Flow 2 take to fully charge?

With a 5V/2A power adapter, it takes about 55 minutes to charge from 0% to 80% and approximately 2 hours to fully charge.

Q3. What charging cable does Flow 2 use?

USB Type-C. You can use the included USB Type-C to A charging cable or a Type-C to C cable to charge Flow 2. The charging port is the USB Type-C port on the handle.

Q4. Can I replace Flow 2's battery?

Sorry, no. If you experience issues with the battery, please contact our support team at service@insta360.com.

Q5. Does Flow 2 support charging while in use?

Yes, it does.

Q6. Can Flow 2 be used as a phone charger?

Yes, Flow 2 doubles as an emergency power bank. Insert your phone's charging cable into the USB port next to the Magnetic Phone Clamp.
Note: If Flow 2 is powered on, the battery percentage must be at least 30% to charge your phone. When it reaches 30% or lower, Flow 2 will stop charging your phone.
If Flow 2 is powered off, click the Power Button once to start charging the phone. Flow 2 will charge your phone until its battery runs out.

Q7. How do I check the battery level of Flow 2?

You can check the battery level on the device itself or through the Insta360 app.

  • Through the touch panel indicator:
    Gimbal powered on: Single-press the M button and the trigger button.
    Gimbal powered off: Single-press the M button.
    • All four lights on: 75% to 100%
    • M, shutter, and C indicators on: 50% to 74%
    • M and shutter on: 25% to 49%
    • Only M on: 6% to 24%
    • M blinking fast: less than 6%
  • Insta360 app: With the device connected to the Insta360 app, you'll see the battery level on the shooting tab.
