Q1. Is Flow 2 compatible with Mic Air?

Yes. You will need the Mic Air (1 TX + 1 RX) version. Flow 2 cannot be directly paired with the Mic Air Transmitter.

Q2. Do I need to connect Mic Air to Flow 2?

No. Connect the Mic Air receiver to your smartphone and mount the smartphone onto Flow 2 to start recording video.

Q3. Can I monitor Mic Air in the Insta360 app when Flow 2 is connected?

Yes. The shooting tab will show a microphone icon in the top left corner, indicating that Mic Air is connected, and a sound wave bar showing the audio levels.

Q4. Does Flow 2 support other third-party microphones?

Flow 2 supports third-party microphones that are compatible with your smartphone. There is no connection required between Flow 2 and the microphone itself.

Note: Flow 2 doesn't support attaching a third-party microphone to the gimbal.
