Flow Series: Gimbal Indicator Lights Malfunction

Description

When using a Flow series gimbal, if you notice all 4 indicators on the device flashing rapidly at the same time, it means the gimbal is experiencing an abnormal condition. You need to troubleshoot and resolve the issue based on the corresponding scenarios below to restore the gimbal to normal functionality.

Solution

Scenario 1: Gimbal blockage protection

During gimbal operation, if the gimbal's rotating parts are accidentally blocked by foreign objects (e.g., colliding with a table, being accidentally stuck by a hand), the device's "Blockage Protection" mechanism will be triggered. Press any button on the gimbal body once directly. This will deactivate the blockage protection, which means that the indicators will return to normal, and the gimbal can be used again.

Scenario 2: Overheat protection caused by misaligned phone clamping

When clamping the phone, if it is not aligned with the gimbal's "central position", the phone's center of gravity will be severely offset. This forces the gimbal motor to run continuously at full load to maintain balance, resulting in abnormal motor heating. Please follow the steps below to re-clamp the phone and ensure it is properly centered:

  1. ​Stretch the magnetic phone clamp to both sides to make space for placing the phone.
  2. Place the phone stably into the clamp, and carefully adjust its position to ensure the clamp is centered on the phone—both horizontally and vertically.
