Flow Series: Setting Shooting Parameters

Applicable Models: Flow, Flow Pro, Flow 2, and Flow 2 Pro

While shooting with the gimbal, you can conveniently adjust shooting parameters in the shooting page of the Insta360 app to flexibly handle various scenarios and easily capture the ideal image.

How to manually adjust shooting parameters in the Insta360 app

  1. Connect the gimbal to the Insta360 app and enter the shooting preview page.

  1. Tap the "AUTO" icon at the top of the screen to adjust parameters including shutter speed, ISO, exposure value, and white balance.

Please note:

  • iOS devices: In the AUTO Mode, you can adjust EV. In the M (Manual) Mode, you can adjust shutter speed, ISO, and WB.
  • Android devices: In the AUTO Mode, you can adjust EV and WB. There is no M (Manual) Mode available, so manual adjustment of shutter speed and ISO is not supported.

FAQ

Is the yellow box on the shooting page used to adjust the exposure value?

Yes. You can drag the "☀️" icon (±EV slider) next to the yellow box to quickly adjust the exposure value for a single shot:

  • Drag up (+EV): Increases exposure for a brighter image. Ideal for low-light or backlit scenes.
  • Drag down (−EV): Decreases exposure to prevent overexposure. Ideal for snowy scenes or subjects in strong light.
