Q1 What is the magnetic force of Flow?

The magnetic force of Flow is 40N, which ensures a firm hold of smartphones under normal conditions.

Q2 Will the magnetic force of Flow interfere with my smartphone or other items?

Flow has an optimized closed-loop magnetic design to avoid affecting the performance of the attached smartphone. However, please do not place Flow close to products with magnetism, such as bank cards, pacemakers, RAM chips, and hard drives.
Smartphone functions that use magnetic signal transmission for data (such as the MST function of some Samsung mobile phones) and the wireless charging function will be affected by magnetic force. Remove the phone clamp before using these features.

Q3 Can I use Flow with a phone case?

Yes, but please make sure the phone case is no thicker than 1.5mm.

Q4 How can I achieve a wider angle when shooting with Flow?

  1. Use Classic Grip: slightly extend the built-in selfie stick and tilt the hinge (see picture).
  2. Use Side Grip (see picture). Extend the tripod and hold Flow so it's parallel to the ground. Recommended for sliding shots and low-angle shots.

Q5 My phone is off-center. What can I do?

  1. Check the notch on the magnetic phone clamp aligns with that of the gimbal.

  2. Check the phone clamp is attached to the center of the smartphone (centered vertically and horizontally).

  3. If Flow is in FPV mode, please try switching the gimbal mode to Auto and see whether the gimbal returns to a level position.
  4. If the smartphone is still off-center, please go to Gimbal Settings and select Auto Calibration or Adjust Horizontal Axis (for more details, please refer to the beginner's video tutorial).

Q6 What should I do if Flow appears in the frame when using the wide-angle lens?

Depending on the angle, position and size of the phone camera lens, Flow may appear in the frame of some shots. You can adjust the position of the phone clamp until the gimbal is no longer in the frame.
If the gimbal is still in the frame, you can use Active Plus Mode (press the Trigger Button once, then immediately press and hold it again. The indicator lights will blink three times to confirm Active Plus is on.)


Q7 Can I use Flow with Insta360 action cameras?

No, Flow is only compatible with smartphones.

Q8 Can I use my foldable smartphone with Flow?

Yes, but there is a higher risk of them falling from the clamp.
For safety, please make sure your smartphone meets the recommended dimensions:
