Q1. How do I enter Whiteboard Mode in a meeting?

Click the Smart Whiteboard Key on the remote control during a meeting.

• When Smart Whiteboard mode is activated, the selected whiteboard will automatically be superimposed over the speaker, with handwriting enhanced for clarity. Select "Hide Portrait" on the bottom right to disable the overlay effect.
• If no whiteboard is set up before a meeting, Insta360 Connect will automatically recognize and enhance the most visible whiteboard in the meeting room after pressing the Whiteboard button.

Note: If the whiteboard is moved significantly during the meeting, you will be prompted to rescan the environment. After clicking OK, the system will detect the whiteboard in its new position and rescan.

If there are multiple whiteboards in the frame during this process, the system will select the clearest one.

Q2. How to set up the whiteboard?

Connect will automatically recognize whiteboards in the meeting room. Multiple whiteboards may be detected. You can manually select them with the remote control during the meeting.

Use the direction buttons on the remote control to fine-tune the display of the whiteboard. Once a corner point has been adjusted, click OK to switch to the next corner. Once complete, click the Smart Whiteboard button to save the new position. When adjusting the whiteboard on the Touch Panel, directly drag the corner points to adjust the range, then tap the upper right corner of the screen to save.

Q3. How can I reliably identify the whiteboard in Whiteboard Mode?

For optimal recognition results, use a whiteboard that meets the recommended specifications and place it according to the guidelines.

• Whiteboard background color: White
• Whiteboard frame: Black, gray, silver, or other frames that contrast significantly with the background, with all four sides unobstructed
• Whiteboard size: Length and width ranging from 24 to 71 inches
• Placement angle: Best when parallel to Insta360 Connect, with an angle less than 60° between Connect and the whiteboard
• Distance: No more than 19.7 feet (6 meters) from Connect
