If you regularly use Strava to record your activity data, or want to synchronize data from devices like Bryton or Polar devices to your videos, you can do so by authorizing Strava in the Insta360 app. The steps below will guide you through easily adding stats data from Strava to your videos.

About Strava

Strava is an international sports and health data management platform that acts as a compatible "data bridge" for multiple device brands. It supports data synchronization from various devices, including those from brands like Bryton, Polar, and Wahoo, which are not directly compatible with the Insta360 app. You simply need to upload your activity data to Strava, then authorize and log into your Strava account in the Insta360 app to synchronize the data and add it to your video stats.

Steps

  1. Upload data

Upload the activity data you want to synchronize to Strava in advance.

  1. Add stats data
  • For 360 videos: Navigate to the Album page in the Insta360 app > play the video > tap "Editor" > select "Frame Cut" > Confirm Clip > tap "Edit and Export" > find and select "Stats".
  • For flat videos: Navigate to the Album page in the Insta360 app > play the video > tap "Editor" > select "Edit" > find and select "Stats".
  1. Authorize your account

On the account authorization page, select "Strava" and tap the "Unauthorized" area. You will be redirected to the Strava login page to complete the authorization. Upon successful authorization, if the timestamp of your activity data perfectly matches the video timestamp, the stats data from Strava will be displayed in your video.

  • When exporting a video with stats data, you must select "Flat Video". Adding stats to 360 videos is not currently supported.
  • The Stats feature is currently not supported in the following shooting modes: Timelapse, Starlapse, TimeShift, Slow Motion, and Bullet Time.
