After shooting with your camera, you can use the "Speed" feature in the Insta360 app to create rhythmic video effects. The article describes how to access this feature from both the Player and Edit pages, helping you easily adjust video speed for more flexible editing.

How to adjust video speed

We recommend updating your Insta360 app to the latest version to ensure full access to the Speed feature and enjoy a more stable experience. To update, go to the Apple App Store or your device's app store, search for "Insta360", and tap "Update" if available. You can also download the latest version of the Insta360 app from the Insta360 website.

Method 1: From the Player page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Album" at the bottom, select the media you want to edit, and enter the Player page.

  • Flat media: Tap "Editor" > "Edit" > "Speed", then adjust the speed as desired.

  • 360 media: Tap "Editor" > "Frame Cut" > "Conform Clip" > "Edit and Export" > "Speed", then adjust the speed as desired.

Method 2: From the Edit page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Edit" > "Create a Video" > select the media you want to edit, tap "Next" > "Edit" > "Speed", then adjust the speed as desired.
