Insta360 App: Apply Motion ND Effects

Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 3, GO 3S, GO Ultra, ONE R, and ONE RS

You can use the Insta360 app to apply Motion ND to your videos in post-production, creating a more realistic motion blur effect.

How to apply Motion ND

We recommend updating your Insta360 app to the latest version to ensure the feature functions properly and to enjoy a more stable experience. To update the app, search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update. Alternatively, you can visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.

Method 1: From the playback page in Album

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Album" at the bottom, and select your desired media to enter the Player page.

• Flat media: Tap "Editor" > "Edit" > "Motion ND".

• 360 media: Tap "Editor" > "Frame Cut" > "Confirm clip" > "Edit and Export" > "Go to more edits" > "Edit" > "Motion ND".

Method 2: From the Edit page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Edit" > "Create a Video" > select the media you want to apply Motion ND > tap "Next" > "Edit" > "Motion ND".

Please note: 

• When previewing media in the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio, the displayed effect is an approximation, and the final result is based on the exported media.
• Motion ND in the Insta360 app supports media up to 4K@60fps.
